Yes. Affiliate registration is free and gives you access to public CCU resources, alerts, downloads, renewal reminder tools, and pay-as-you-go services at full published service rates.
Does Affiliate Membership include a Union Rep?
No. Personal Union Rep access is a paid-member benefit.
Does Affiliate Membership include initial CCW course tuition?
No. Affiliate Members pay full published rates for pay-as-you-go services. Free CCW classes are not a standing Affiliate benefit.
What does the $100 Lifetime Founding Membership include?
Lifetime paid-member access, Union Rep access, Legal Defense Fund eligibility, Legal Offense Fund eligibility, member tools, renewal reminders, member-only resources, Union Pricing benefits, free initial and renewal CCW courses, and 25% off CCU Union services while in good standing.
Do Lifetime Members still pay for services?
Yes, for services outside the free CCW course benefit. Lifetime Members receive 25% off all CCU Union services while in good standing.
Are government fees included with renewal classes or pay-as-you-go services?
No, unless specifically stated. Government fees, sheriff fees, fingerprint fees, background-check fees, range fees, qualification fees, ammunition, and third-party costs are separate.
Are paralegal and attorney services included for free?
No. Paid membership gives access to escalation pathways. Paralegal services, attorney review, attorney-guided submission, and representation may be subject to separate fees, review, acceptance, and terms.
Is CCU a legal insurance plan?
No. CCU is not insurance. CCU is a concealed-carrier union built to provide member support, tools, issue intake, escalation pathways, political organization, and discretionary Legal Defense / Legal Offense review.
Does CCU fund every case?
No. CCU focuses on winning for one to benefit all. The CCU Defense/Offense Review Board reviews cases for eligibility, facts, member conduct, mission fit, strategy, available resources, counsel review, and CCU policies.
What does member in good standing mean?
A member in good standing is current on dues or lifetime membership status, follows CCU membership rules, does not abuse benefits, and remains eligible under CCU policies.
Is the $100 Lifetime Founding Membership permanent?
The $100 Lifetime Founding Membership is limited to the first 1,000 Founding Members. After that, CCU may move to different paid membership terms.
